Entropic Energy has a patent pending technology that can economically convert heat into electricity on a small scale (50 kW to 2 MW). This unique system can do successfully what many have attempted for years: extract useful energy from waste at an affordable price.

Turbion^TM uses the "Entropic" power cycle with inherent capabilities that are unobtainable in traditional steam or organic based systems applied to small power generation. Using a simple design with a minimum of components that is safe, cost effective and easy to operate, the "Entropic" power cycle can still achieve the maximum electrical power generation as well as offer cogeneration heat. No other heat cycle can:

• produce a high electrical conversion efficiency for small systems, and
• produce all of its reject heat as high temperature hot water or glycol, and
• cost ($/kW) competitively with large scale steam systems.

Things to Consider About Turbion^TM

• The affordable Turbion^TM system will make more power than an unaffordable higher efficiency system
• Working fluid volumetric flows are significantly less than those of steam or organic systems making components much smaller
• A Turbion^TM system is comparable in cost per kW to a large steam system
• Reject heat is in liquid form at high temperatures which can be pumped easily over large distances
• A high return temperature of cooling water allows the use of all available heat
• Higher temperature cogeneration water is possible with only a minor reduction in electrical output
• Temperature of flue gas leaving the Turbion^TM heater is low enough for any flue gas cleaning technology
